A Mixture of Both
Even though I was intending to take my family to a resort that offers log cabins for lodging, I did not find it at all difficult to change my mind when I discovered the Shorefield Country Park. This resort is situated between the coast and the forest, which means that we could spend one day at the beach, and the next exploring the forest. They have an indoor heated swimming pool, which my children loved, as well as an outdoor heated pool. They have a gym too, which kept my wife happy. They also have an all weather floodlit tennis court, and we did actually end up playing a game of family tennis at night. They also have an adults bar, a football pitch, a fishing lake, a sauna and a steam room, live family entertainment, and a childrens club too.
